first post here: just ordered a cp-251 (to augment an mf 101, 102 & 105). curious if anyone out there cares to share some tips for integrating these units- favorite patches, tricks?

Spend a few evening just experminting.
The equiment will speak forr itself.

try this though. (it is hard for me to write this perfect)
S+H output on 251 into the frequency in on the RM
Carrier output on 251 into the LPF.
LPF into MuRF.
You are using the carrier frequency as audio.

thanks for this. you're right, of course. experimentation is the key. anxious for my 251 to arrive to try out that patch, and work out our own variations, of course. curious if anyone keeps notes of what they do (i'm thinking, after years of goofing around with analog, non-memory gear, it might be a good thing to try for a change- just a simple notepad...sounds geeky, i know. actually did that for a performance recently, though- helped with setup at least, without taking away from the spontaneity).
