Voyager RME changing presets requires flicking Env / Gate?

Post by sanderr2 » Fri May 05, 2017 10:33 am

Hi, I recently bought a 2nd hand Voyager RME and am a complete Noob to Moog. When I use the Mixer knob to select a preset, I don't hear any sound unless I flick the Env / Gate switch from On / EXT to Keyb. and back again. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere or am I doing something wrong?! Thanks in anticipation, Rob

Most likely the new preset you're switching to does not have the Env Gate switched saved as EXT/ON. After you toggle the switch on the "new preset" save the preset (under Master) and it should work. Also make sure that the Vol Env Gate source (under the Edit menu) is set to "Gate is On", unless you're using an external gate signal connected to the rear panel. Don't forget to save these setting as well.
