Where can I sample a Voyager in London?
I'm damn sure I will purchase one and I don't want to get one in the post.

For what it's worth, I did buy my Voyager from Turnkey, and I did get it by post (I didn't visit the shop first).
The order was handled competently and promptly, and the synth arrived well packed and in perfect condition.
I know some people have had problems with Turnkey, and it'd be helpful if we had other choices when buying Moog stuff in Britain. But I've bought quite a bit of stuff from them in the last year or two, and overall they've been fine.
So basically, don't blame me if you're unfortunate enough to have problems - I'm not connected with Turnkey and I can't guarantee anything.
But do bear in mind they have at least one satisfied customer, and I wouldn't be surprised if they handle your order as professionally as they handled mine. I hope so, anyway.

Yeah, I got my AE from Turnkey also. Sure there were issues and sure, they could have handled these issues better but I think Turnkey get 90% of their flack because they are No.1 and the English love to knock whoever is No.1.
Im not defending them but I suspect they are no worst than any other shop, especially shops that hire part time students etc - I did not give a bleep about much when I was 18 (still dont really) so I dont get surprised or offended when some 18 year old gives me a poor service, rather I just use their lack of interest and ability to my advantage.
They really are not so bad...

I'm not trying to upset apple carts here, but you two guys must be very lucky, because the rest of us certainly have a different tale to tell. And, I'm sorry, but no way are they number one - Digital Village could wipe the floor with them IMHO!
It is better to be loved or hated than to be regarded with indifference.
I might look a fool, I might act the fool, but take me for a fool and I'll make a fool of you.

Really? I ordered something from Digital Village once.
After I'd placed the order they told me they didn't have the item in stock despite the fact that they were listing it as a stock item. Then they told me it would be delayed. Then they gave up and said they'd never have it. So I cancelled and sorted out the details with my credit card company, glad that I'd chosen to pay that way.
It was actually worse than that, but I can't remember all the details.
Thomann sent me the item in a matter of a couple of days. They had no problems re-stocking, either, so Digital Village's inability to get hold of the item had nothing to do with scarcity.
