Sub 37 editor not recognizing moog anymore..

Post by rumblenaut » Sun Oct 09, 2016 12:53 am

It used to work just fine, until I tried today.

I re-installed the newest firmware , and the problem persists. It is connected Ableton's MIDI settings to, TRACK, SYNC, and REMOTE are enabled for the Moog sub 37's input and output.

The error reads "THE EDITOR CAN'T CONNECT TO THE HARDWARE, PLEASE SET MIDI IN AND OUT ON SETUP PAGE"

On my MIDI setting on the moog, it is set to Send/Receive on channel 1.
SEND PGM CHG/RCV PGM CHG are also set to ON.

I just re-arranged my whole studio and bought a moogerfooger, so I may have accidentally changed or configured something wrong, but I have no idea what it could be other than the parameters I described above.

You may want to connect the Sub via USB to you computer/audio interface directly, and open the editor in stand alone first.

This doesn't solve my problem, thanks for the reply though.

It's the first place I would check. It's going to see if you have communication via USB from the Sub to your computer, and also see if the editor is working. If they are, you can go to your computer settings and reset your ableton connection, and start a new project to see if it's working.
