Voyager Patches:
Marmaduke1012004 (LWG) posted two cool, new Voyager patches (February and March) and three more updated patches. Thanks, LWG!

Resources:
Several interesting Electronic Music recordings have come to our attention lately, and it inspired us to create a Recommended Listening list. We found three worthy candidates for the list: First up is "Ohm: The Early Gurus of Electronic Music". This is a 3 CD set of historically significant recordings from notable EM composers using various electronic instruments and music-making techniques, including magnetic tape and computer systems. Next is Wendy Carlos' "Secrets of Synthesis", a recording in words and music that illustrates her performance techniques and approach to electronic orchestration. Last is Laurie Speigel's "Obsolete Systems", a CD of performances from some of the more exotic electronic music systems, including the Electrocomp 100, Buchla modular, Bell Labs Alles synth and GROOVE composition system. These three recordings are a sonic treat for anyone interested in the history of Electronic Music. Learn more about each in the Recommended Listening list.

Monthly Mashup:
So there we were, listening to ELP's "From the Beginning", and looking for inspiration for the monthly mashup patch. And then it hit us: we should take our patches 'from the beginning' - the SE bank! Inspiration turned to action, and a short time later we had it. We combined 'Mellow Lead' (preset #005) with 'Glom' (preset #055), creating our March Mashup offering, 'Mellow Glom'. Enjoy!
