Moog Source--Saving data to computer

Post by leohuppert » Fri Aug 26, 2016 1:45 pm

Hey all, looking to save sounds via the 'To Tape' jack into an iMac. My best guess is via a USB audio interface (?). Is that the only/best way? Also, what app would you recommend, GarageBand, QuickTime, or something else?

Last time i did a data dump, reagan was president. and i had a lot more hair. <sigh>

I just used the mic input. Any audio capture software will work fine, tape data doesn't need high fidelity audio interfaces. Just make sure to use the verify function by playing it back to the Source.
