Hi all,
Super excited to get my hands on this beauty. I am a little confused on how to set it up though so I have more than one monitor...
I'm using the 2i2 with yamaha hs8's.
How I currently think it should be connected: Moog Sub 37 1/4" Audio Out connected into one of the 1/4" jacks on the back of the 2i2. Then my 2i2 connects via USB into my computer's mobo.
The problem I have with this is that I can only use one of my monitors... Am I being silly, or do I need to buy a 2i4 or a more appropriate audio interface?? Maybe I could use a 1/4" audio splitter so I can connect both monitors into one of the 1/4" ports on the 2i2?
Thanks for the help

I don't own a 2i2, but the jacks on the back seem to be line outputs, not inputs.
AFAIK you'd connect the audio out of the Sub 37 to either of the inputs on the front (those inputs take both jack and XLR) and just connect your monitor speakers to the outputs on the back of the 2i2.

Yes very silly haha
The moog sub phatty should be connected into input 1 or 2 on the front of the 2i2 the back are only outputs for monitors/speakers
You need to setup the mix control software to hear the sub37
Hope that helps

Hey, yeah I was super confused by how the inputs on the 2i2 look. They accept some sort of XLR along with a 1/4",which makes the shape look more complicated than what the 1/4" is. Wow, lol.

Those combo jacks accept both regular XLR and 1/4" jack plugs. Most audio interfaces come with combo jacks, so you can plug in instruments/mics/etc. using either connector type.
