Just spent the last 5 hours battling thru this issue.
Started with OSX installer which failed, and left me with blank screen.
Manual attempts with various settings in sysex manger and C6 both failed.
Then switched to windows7 , bome sendsx 1.4 and finally im back in business.

im only managing to get the update to work using a windows pc, all OSX approaches failed ( sysex manger and C6 both), so if you having troubles try with bome sendsx. Also even with blank a screen sub37, you need to startup with the pitch wheel upwards to enter bootloader world.
