Is Pot Mapping legal outside of Denver?

We just saw a Voyager XL pot mapping video, which in turned opened Pandora's box for us. We're speechless. We had no idea of that tip/trick. Its a real game changer for us. We were just getting ready to put the XL up for sale ... what the heck were we thinking --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXN1yxax448

We looked in the manual, but so far nothing screams at us that you can find pot mapping on page xxxx.

The video gave us pot mapping inspiration that could accent our sound and lead us into the new Voyager DXL ...

Sooooooooooooo does anyone have any other pot mapping directions and or advice. Knowing us, will pot map every preset we have an won't know how to get back

Explains how Pot Mapping works, and includes a dozen examples. Here's two from that doc:

8. Filter Cutoff with Pitch Bend
To provide more emphasis on Voyager solos, use this mapping to boost the filter cutoff when the Pitch Bend wheel is increased.
(Alternate: Try this mapping with Pitch Bend set to OFF, so that it has no effect on pitch. Pull the Pitch Bend wheel all the way back and release it. The wheel will spring forward, over-shooting the center, causing the filter to ‘bounce’. Funky & fun!)

9. Mod Wheel Crossfade
This program uses two map locations to adjust a pair of oscillator levels in opposite directions, resulting in an oscillator crossfade as the Mod Wheel is adjusted. Useful for crossfading or mixing contrasting oscillator waves, or intervals.
