Sorry for the noob question, but I haven't been able to find an answer for my problem via YouTube or other forums questions...
I'm trying to access the step sequencer edit mode (using the 16 bank step sequencer buttons to edit the sequence) on my sub37 and I can't seem to access it. In my global settings in the top right corner it states 'global menu 1.1' so I believe I have the correct firmware to use this feature. I have no problem record and playing the sequence correctly using the pattern knob, but when I try to access the step sequencer edit mode by holding down latch and bank at the same time it won't take me to the sequence edit mode. Can someone explain to me what I'm doing wrong? Watching YouTube video tutorials it show this is the way to access, but it doesn't work for me. I'd appreciate some help resolving, thank you.

Re: Troubles getting into step sequencer mode...
The 1.1 you're seeing is the page number in the global menu.
Page 3, right below "Light show" should read
M1.1.0
...if you have the current firmware.
