How to connect Sub Phatty to Beat Step
Can someone please inform me how to hook my Sub to a Beatstep using CV/Gate? I can't figure it out. What goes to where? Thanks.

I just got my Beatstep today. I was able to connect the "Gate Out" to the "KB Gate" on the Sub Phatty, and the "CV Out" to the "Pitch CV" on the Phatty using two 1/8"-to-1/4" mono cables. This worked, but the pitch was at a super high octave. Not sure if there is an adjustment that needs to be made in the Beatstep MIDI editor or what. But I'm at least able to control the Sub Phatty with the Beatstep for now. I'll report back if I can get a solution.

Follow-up: After reading on another forum about the octave issue, I turned the Sub Phatty off and on while the BeatStep was plugged in, and this resolved the issue.

Hey I'm trying to figure out the same thing....a bit confused-you said you used mono cables for both ends-I thought the CV and KB inputs were like expression pedal jacks and needed the double ring tips? Anyway totally a newbie at this synth stuff so if anybody has an inkling to explain this to me much appreciated.
