CV pedal midi data

Post by mckayallday » Tue Dec 01, 2015 2:43 am

I like using a pedal for pitch bends sometimes. When I had a Sub Phatty, I noticed this pitch bend data from the pedal-to-cv-input data is not recorded via midi when tracking a performance to my DAW. Does anyone know if this is an option to enable? I now have a Sub 37. Perhaps this is a feature request.

I understand it is not possible, since it is a completely analog signal and it is not being tracked digitally.

The Pitch CV input is mappable in the Global parameters page to most any mod source including pitch up or pitch down, but this is for controlling the RANGE of the pitch wheel. I guess it is a feature request to have the Pitch CV input or Volume CV input mappable to actual Pitch Bend data which would also be sent out of the MIDI output.

Searching for this made me discover all of the other mappings of the Pitch CV input which are mad fun to control using my foot on a CV pedal, though :-)
