MUSIC!!!!
I just found the Moog Mother-32. I am looking at what I can sell, besides my body to get one. That is besides the point. I fell in love with it. I want to hear what you have created with it. Send me your SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube, etc. I can't seem to get enough right now.

Re: MUSIC!!!!
I've been doing a series of videos of the Mother-32 which I'm sure you've seen by now, but I did my first one tonight with all three Mother-32s by request for some members on another forum. Here are the details I posted to them:johniscool wrote:I just found the Moog Mother-32. I am looking at what I can sell, besides my body to get one. That is besides the point. I fell in love with it. Ok, this didn't turn out at all like I had hoped because I was in a rush, but, this is a very rough and sloppily played tribute to seb17320's excellent "Mos-Lab 15 demo" video. I wanted to see if I could pull-off something close using three Moog Mother-32s (finally got the 3-Tier rack and my replacement for my third Mother-32 today!)
The playing is really rough (due to attempting to play a solo on the little buttons instead of keys... and lots of octave switching!) the sequence is not very close to the original, and the video editing in general is crap (I couldn't figure out how to do Seb's 4-way split screen) but I hope everyone can appreciate the spirit that this demo was intended in!

Nice work as always. Thanks for a tip of the hat to Sep. His videos are alway well done. I'm looking forward to my shipment of modules from France April next year.
Also I really liked the first bit of your last video as it had this Steve Reich vibe going on. That will always get two big thumbs up from me.

I just cranked this one out real quick for Halloween. It's cheesy, and the third sequence (from the middle Mother-32) was out of sync because I forgot to plug the sync cable in. Doh! So I decided to grab the controls and play it live. Also, be sure to watch for the Haunted Doll...

(I was going for a sort of Carpenterish vibe...)

OMG! This is amazing. Now I want 3!!! So beautiful, I love the sound. Is the Mother-32 doing the kick/snare parts as well?? Was the song done in one take or is it multi-tracked? I am new to Modular Synths, and am trying to figure out if entire songs like this can be done by the Mother-32 (or 3) like this.
Thank you for turning me on to Seb's work as well!

This track was multitrack, but not as much as Seb's video. If I had three more Mother-32s, I could have done this all live and it still would have been less money than Seb's MOS-LAB setup! (but with some features obviously missing of course.)
Since in Seb's video he used a Linn Drum for the kick and snare, I used a virtual Linn Drum in Ableton Live for mine. But in my first video, which was just my first test 10 minutes after unboxing, I got both a synth voice and some interesting percussion sounds all at the same time from just one Mother-32! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7wquBKwzA4
Since finally getting all 3 working together now, I've only done that Seb tribute and that previous cheesy halloween video, but now I'm going to get serious, and get down to work to see what I can really pull of with three Mother-32s...

Just one more quickie with the Moog Mother-32 (x3). Probably the last demo for awhile, I need to seriously get down to work now...
