Just saw this on youtube:

It uses Max for Live.
It only seems to work one-way, sending parameter changes in ableton to the sub 37, but not responding to changes made on the sub 37, but it still looks like a useful/interesting tool.

Third party Sub 37 editor for Ableton available
My Sub 37 Patches - Sub 37 + Mother 32 + UR-44 + OS X 10.11/Ableton Live/Logic Pro X + Push 2
Re: Third party Sub 37 editor for Ableton available
thanks paul, will give it a try.
also found this one:
http://www.maxforlive.com/library/devic ... controller
not as in depth as the one you posted, but does the main job.
i also came across the same phenomenon like you that automation is one-way here.
but i think i found a cure:
when you turn a knob Ableton is receiving MIDI - and you can map each knob to the M4L device - like this ableton is registering the parameter changes from the sub37.
feels a bit strange to do it like that, might cause midi feedback?
...but should do it till we get the plugin, no
