Hi there.
Maybe this question has already been asked/answered before, but I would really appreciate some help.
When I switch on my Sub37 I get a balloon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen (running Windows 7 64-bit) saying "USB Device Not Recognised," and when I go into the Windows 7 Control Panel, Device Manager, the Sub37 is listed as "Unknown USB Device".
In addition, when I load Cubase 8 there is no sign of Midi Activity when I turn any of the Sub37 knobs (whereas my Tetr4 works fine for example).
Anyone else having this issue/fixed it?
Please can someone advise.

My bet is that you have it plugged into a hub (whether that's a physical external hub, or a hub inside the computer case if this is a desktop).
Plug the Sub 37 directly into the computer. If you've already done that, switch which USB port it's attached to.
I've found that all the Moog synths I've tried have issues with some subset of USB hubs out there.

I've always had success with powered hubs. I have a Sub37, Sub Phatty and a couple of other synths on the same powered hub without any problems. But as Psychlist1972 suggested try a direct connection to the PC first.

There are a couple powered hubs I had (and since retired due to this) that worked with everything but my Moog synths. It may be a specific chipset or topology that the Moog doesn't quite understand.Bald Eagle wrote:I've always had success with powered hubs. I have been using IOGEAR's SuperSpeed USB 3.0 4-Port Hub without any problems. It's also backwards compatible with 2.0 and 1.1.Psychlist1972 wrote:There are a couple powered hubs I had (and since retired due to this) that worked with everything but my Moog synths.
