Using an Arturia Beatstep for CV

I recently got an Arturia Beatstep for its control voltage output and wondered if anyone here has had luck using one to control a Minitaur. I'm asking because, so far, the pitch control has been way off for me.

I know that the minitaur takes a range of 5 volts and the beatstep (I think) outputs 7 but, if the scaling for both is 1 volt to an octave, shouldn't the pitch interval between notes at least sound right?

This thread should help. And definitely try to calibrate to A's instead of C's (you should know what I mean after reading the thread) … that consistently worked for me with a Beatstep:
