memorymoog mod

Post by Bill R Williams » Wed Jan 04, 2006 7:26 pm

I'm looking for a mod for my memorymoog
to stabilize the oscillator drift but does not
cost $2000 (LAMM)
Midi is not that important but I can't play the unit
if it's constantly out of tune.

Thanks
Bill Williams

There's no simple mod. There are multiple things that cause the MM to go out of tune, many of which I've addressed in this post on AH. It's a DIY solution, but a lot of work and not for the novice.

I can aasure L.A.M.M. is expensive but it is worthwhile.
I never had any costs (knocking on wood now...) since my Memorymoog has been modified; it is 99.9% (or even 100%) stable and solid as a rock. And for studio work the full MIDI impleentation is a great tool.
But yeah it's not cheap...
