MIDI delay/jitter

Post by Roguegbg » Wed Apr 08, 2015 4:19 pm

I am trying to record my Voyager XL into Cubase via MIDI. I am experiencing a serious delay, about 10ms, on the actual audio returned to Cubase from Voyager. Also there is a spread on about 2.5ms where it can end up either before or after where it is supposed to be.

Is anyone else experiencing these problems and what kind of workarounds are you using?

I've had to adjust logic for mdi/audio latency before. I had to do something similar that the following video I found for cubase shows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LxZ7dIb7Yg
