Wow, I just can't believe all the sounds you can get out of this thing.

Some things are a little confusing though ...like getting the aftertouch to work, the manual isn't real clear. Anyway, I'll get it after a while. I'll have to check the forum out and read up on some stuff.
Inspiration seems to always come at the start of a session, so always have that tape recorder going! :!:

Congrats and welcome.
Press controllers button in one of the lfo sections and set all controllers to zero except for aftertouch, set that between 50 and 100%. Then turn the knob for pitch or whichever in the lfo section and hey presto, aftertouch works.

Welcome to the forums, zone47!

Congrats on the Sub 37. It's my first Moog synth, too. A total beast, I love it.

Thanks,

That was pretty easy... so it looks like you can have two effects per patch. Now I need to figure out if I can route the mod wheel or aftertouch to the resonance, or filter section for some weird effect there ... I'm sure I can, I just need more time to experiment. Yeah, this is a really great synth for the money.

Yes you can, and I'm sure you will discover many tricks in the days to come. There is a thread here called Sub37 Mod Destination Tips (or something like that) that has really useful information.
