the lead sound at the end of Welcome To The Machine is a fairly easy one to make....i tend to land on it all the time and fall into a few bars when i do hehe

sorry man i usually dial past it and onto something else hehe. the whole idea is to fiddle until you hear something surely with a Moog? you should just be twiddling knobs like crazy and listening. after a few days solid of doing this you will become good at dialling in any sound you want to hear.

start with a saw wave and twist it to various degrees of pulse....use the filter and mod wheel, and a fairly straight amp envelope....youd be half-way there already
