Alternatives to CP-251?

Post by psi » Wed Dec 14, 2005 1:36 pm

Does anyone know of any alternatives to the CP-251? I can't really find any similar units made for CV outputs.

Welcone to the world of Modular Synths...

Look around these sites. Especally the Blacet stuff, the Binary Zone works great with the Voyager. Also the MiniWave creates fantastic and strange modulations for FM and LFO's

Thanks for the reply, sir_dss. Few follow-ups questions:

Do you know of any programmable units that would allow me to output a certain voltage levels as a function of time? i.e., a certain voltage level from 0:00 to 0:25, another level for 0:25 to 0:27, another level for 0:27 to 0:52, etc, etc. I guess I'm looking for an analog step sequencer... maybe? Is it possible to interface a digital step sequencer with analog synths? Also do you of a cheap unit that can generate sine, square, saw, and different types of random waveforms /noise?
