Hi all,
I am hoping to use my subphatty live and I wanted to know if I could use the Keyboard as a standalone midi controller, while I send midi into the synth.
I want to use the keys to trigger samples in ableton live (via midi OUT), while sending midi from ableton into the synth itself (via midi IN).
I have done this with a Novation KS4 before. Does anyone know if this can be done with the subphatty?
Cheers,
Dan
SubPhatty - standalone midi keyboard?
Re: SubPhatty - standalone midi keyboard?
Local On/Off might be what you're looking for. But if you want to still use the knobs and MW etc to control the Sub Phatty itself it might become a bit tricky and you'd need to set up some MIDI-Filter rules with some separate software.

This is easy to do. Go to page 34 of the Manual to learn how to change the Sub Phatty's LOCAL CONTROL to OFF.

Once you've done this you will get exactly the result you desire.
