The package also includes the Soundtower editor/librarian (which costs $69). The librarian is invaluable as it enables you to save (to computer) and categorize all your presets. They can easily be loaded back into the synth. The editor also works well but since the synth itself is so easy to edit from the front panel you may find yourself using this side of the software less.
Soundtower allow license transfers, which is a pretty straightforward process. Here is the reply I received from them regarding this:
"As a courtesy to our customers, we offer a free license transfer to a new user.
We would need your written transfer request and a proof of registration purchase (registration name and code of the original owner) as well as the new owner's full name and email address."
