I just got a used Minifooger Ring pedal. At first I liked it, but I've begun to notice a couple of problems with it:
1. When I switch it on, it makes a pronounced "bing" sound (yeah, like the machine that goes bing from Monty Python's Meaning of Life). The pitch depends on how the frequency knob is set. This is especially irritating if it's going through a delay.
2. At the end of playing a phrase, the sound of the carrier frequency lingers for a moment, so everything I play through it ends with the same sound. This is also very irritating.
Do they all do this, or did I just get a lemon? Is there anything that can be done to remedy this? Are there any trim pots that could be adjusted to fix it? I haven't opened it up.
If it matters, I'm playing an Etherwave theremin through it.
Thanks!

They are new enough that you might not get much response here. Best to contact the fine folks at Moog to see what they say.
