Taurus 2 Pedal Problem/Question

Post by kurtido » Fri Jun 06, 2014 4:17 pm

Hello!
I recently purchased a Taurus II and am in a bit of a quandry. This might be a simple problem, but I haven't found an answer yet and was hoping someone here might shed some light. Synth works fine, and sounds great, but the pedals all play the same thing. What I mean is, all the pedals 'work' in that they trigger the synth when pressed, but they all play the same thing...there is no pitch differentiation up or down the scale. Any hints or ideas you might have off the top of your head would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Kurt

How does the 5 pin cable look? I would check the 5 pin cable for faults or dirty connections first.

Don't use a MIDI cable to connect pedals to synth module.

MIDI cables only have 3 of 5 pins wires on the DIN plugs. The T2 needs all 5.

Thank you...I did gather that, but at the same time, I've been looking for a five-point for sale and I don't really trust anything that's come up. Does anyone know where I can pick up one for sure?
Thanks very much!
