Saving presets on a minitaur

Post by iolli » Mon Mar 31, 2014 4:44 pm

Hello
Sorry, I guess I am asking the same question again.
Is it really not possible to save a preset on the minitaur panel without the editor?
Thank you!

I forget the deal on the current version but whenever they release the updated firmware, the save routine is actually kind of great.

Two buttons starts the save process, two buttons to scroll to the new preset, you're auditioning the target the whole time you're scrolling, then another press to save. Easy and effective.

From memory - you get the patch you like, you press and hold glide and tap release. Let go of both. They'll blink while you're in this mode IIRC. Then scroll the presets using glide plus VCO1 or 2. It auditions what ever preset you're on. When you find one you want to overwrite, press and hold release. (Fuzzy on this last step.)
If you're already in the slot you want overwritten, press glide+release and hold the whole thing for a moment and it will flash.

So to be clear; I can find a preset, tweak it and then press and hold glide and release and this will overwrite the preset I'm on.?!

From the manual-

SAVE CURRENT PRESET: Press GLIDE + press & hold RELEASE switch; hold both for 1 second. Settings will be saved in the currently-active preset location.

SAVE TO A NEW LOCATION: Press GLIDE + RELEASE switches; let go. You’ll see GLIDE and RELEASE LEDs flashing on and off. You can change presets in the normal way (hold GLIDE button, press OSCILLATOR 1 or 2 buttons to change preset); when you find a preset you want to save over, hold GLIDE + Press RELEASE to finish saving. Press RELEASE by itself to cancel without saving.

I really appreciate it.

I have looked through the manual three times now and while tbh I skimmed, I cannot find this info.

Thanks again.

When you download the 2.1 firmware it's in the Word doc included with the download.
