Slew rate mod - can you just send the board in?

Hi, I am interested in getting the slew rate mod done on my Voyager, but not so keen on sending the whole unit. Can anyone who's hag Moog perform this upgrade tell me whether it can be done by sending in a specific board, or does it require the whole enchilada, as it were?

Also, is this a mod someone who has experience with soldering, etc. can perform, does anyone know? I wasn't sure whether it's a matter of changing one component, or of changing a whole slew of them (sorry, couldn't resist) and then performing a calibration...
