For those lucky ones who have both, has anyone tried this? I was messing around with it ther other day setting up midi machines in MD. It's pretty cool. Obviously you can set pitch on each step, but you can also control Continuous Controller #'s on the Voyager but might seem weird when using MSB/LSB. Has anyone experimented with this setup?

I have the monmachine and I use it to trigger the voyager all the time. I think it is very similar to the machinedrum sequencer except it can be up to 64 steps. I believe there are some other minor differnces, but it does not seem to have any trouble with msb/lsb. I have programmed a bunch of different setups, all with no communication problems.

Cool, I wasn't having any problems. Just wanted to hear from other users using elektron gear to trigger the voyager

I have the vovager connected to the MD in various ways. Some connections will yield intesting sounds for the whole kit. If it is too out of hand I will match the v with the mid machines. I have not done nearly enough with this.

What do you mean by this...match the voltage?

When using an outside sound source, the MD has a mid machine to seq the outside voice. So if the voyager (v - looks like voltage - whoops) sound can be made from MD, but you will not hear anything more then the beginning of the tone. Any modulation would have to come from the mid machine. As you are probably aware. I have had little luck with controller numbers.
