If only one thing, local control off keyboard only, all other controls remain active.

Hi Sofine,

Obviously not as elegant as having MIDI Clock pass through the Phatty,
but here's a $39.99 solution:

Thanks _DemoDan_

I already use a 3 way midi splitter!

Thanks! :)

A pedal is my current workaround. It's good for casual jams ... less reliable for live performances where midi control of an entire synth rig is the norm.

Amos, I was thinking today and...

Well. I suggested once to add "loopability" to the Little Phatty envelopes. I was refreshing my mind about the menu structure of the Phatty today and I thought I would prefer the function to be switched through a special button manipulation rather than through a menu.

The first idea to come was holding the ATTACK button of the envelope to (un)set as loopable, or press simultaneously the ATTACK and RELEASE buttons. That makes sense...

In terms of code space, I guess this is just a couple of bits to save per preset... but hey, I don't have my hands in hood :)

More modulation destinations for "MOD DEST2".
My vote goes to the filter envelope: Being able to modulate either the attack, decay, sustain or release.
For us who sequence the phatty, this would be insanely cool.

External midi-CC control over "panel activ"/"preset activ".

..Or the ability to reset the "panel activ" back to "preset activ" when REsending the current program change.

Hello, i'm new to this community. Bought my slim phatty some weeks ago and i love it. Especially the Pot Mapping function is VERY valuable for me.
When played with this feature i came over some bugs, which are a little bit annoying when using this feature extensively. I also already searched this forum, but couldn't find solutions.

So here they are:

1. Mosty nasty bug (/feature?) is, that the mapped knobs work in the direct opposite way compared to the original knobs.
E.g. when CUTOFF is mapped to MOD knob: i turn the mapped cutoff clockwise and the original value is turning counter-clockwise. It can also be heard in the sound, that mapped knobs have switched scales.

Coming to

2. E.g. same situation as above, CUTOFF is mapped to MOD knob: When turning the normal FILTER knob, the LED position on the mapped MOD knob isn't changing. When touching MOD afterwards, the CUTOFF value jumps to the actual MOD knob position; even in track-mode.

And last one, which is a rather minor bug, but just want to mention it

3. When pot-mapping a knob, pressing PRESET button afterwards, pressing it again to come back to "panel active" the mapped knob isn't mapped anymore.

It would be awesome, if at least the first bug could be fixed as it's just totally weird, when the mapping is switched.

Thank you,
Michael

A sweet upgrade feature would be similar to the voyager where you go to the copy right page and press up and see bob moog's face(or whatever it is now), but instead you can see PHAT, or something similarly humorous. It's a dumb request, but i think it would be awesome.

Ok there is yet another strange thing with pot mapping: So i have mapped filter EG amount on the ENG knob. To switch to the mapped function i have to press the lighted one of the ADSR buttons the get the mapped functionality of the knob. Now when i long press the MOD amount button so that it's in blinking mode and then press the lighted ADSR button, then it doesn't work - i can't get into mapped functionality mode, as long as i don't deactivate the blinking MOD amount button.

Guys, am i the only one using this fantastic pot mapping? Did nobody else notice that? :)

I just wish i could set all my presets to take arp clock from external in one go. What a pain to dive into the menu and edit and save each one manually! I haven't the heart at the moment...

Soooo... it seems I have ideas only now that the Little Phatty and Slim Phatty are discontinued.
I know there are few chances MoogMusic are still maintaining or upgrading the Phatty OS, but one cannot live without hope :)

What about a polychain mode for paraphony? Here are some preliminary details for the simplest implementation:
- Phatty #1 would be the reference one, i.e. the one whose envelopes are working.
- Each Phatty #n would be patched into the n-1-th Phatty's audio in.
- Each Phatty #n would have its oscillators freely editable, i.e. not duplicated from Phatty #1.
- Each Phatty #n would have its envelopes rectangular .
- When playing one note, all the Phattys play unison.

One difficulty is: when releasing the last key, the Phattys #n’s oscillators should continue sounding just like the Phatty #1’s. Or it would be up to the user to set the release times at max on the Phatty #n… or not.

You can do this right now with existing firmware. Set one unit for low note, the other for high note and adjust envelopes appropriately. i.e. the slave synth should have as long a release time as possible.

Ok, first post, hopefully this gets picked up. Not sure if i should post this here, or in the other topic... not sure if we can expect an other firmware update or not...

But since i updated my Little Phatty (SEII) earlier this week, i noticed a nasty bug in the arpeggiator. Now sometimes the arp hessitates a fraction of a second. I've come across this bug at least ten times in the last few days. Not cool. Would trying to do the firmware again remedy this? I never had this problem with the old firmware (factory SEII), but the first time the firmware update wasn't installed succesfully and i had to try it again. It worked the second time, but now has this bug. Could this be related?

As far as a wish list goes for coming updates (if ever):
  1. I'd like a "random" option in the arpeggiator (in addition to order, up, down...)
  2. Could the arpeggiator be "tweaked" so it could be also used as a sequencer? Basically it would be very similar to the arpeggiator running "in order", with the addition of
    1. being able to hit a same note multiple times (maybe add the option to play notes within a certain timeframe from each other instead of having to "hold" all the notes)
    2. and having an option to have "no note" in the sequence (a silence). Maybe if you could set a note to ignore (hence silent), in the menu?

The sequencer options in the S37 has me a bit envious.

If some of this stuff is already possible please tell me how and disregard my post.

For the Slim...if you just finally fixed the stuck notes that happens every single time I use it, and added no more features at all, I would be very happy.
