Minitaur and Abelton help

So i've bought a minitaur and can honestly say it has the sweetest sound! Works fine with the editor open on its own and a stand alone digital midi keyboard. When i try run midi from abelton though non of the knobs respond as they should, either they don't move at all or move the wrong way or sometimes two at once! Has anyone found a fix for this? maybe abelton settings that I dont have right?..
