Triggering other synths with SP arpeggiator

I'm having difficulty getting the Slim Phatty's arpeggiator to trigger other synths, especially in latch mode. I set the SP to send MIDI in the ARP SETUP section. In non-latch mode, I'm able to play notes and get arpeggios happening on my other synths, but once I set it to latch mode, the pattern stops and I just get a static single note repeating endlessly. Can anyone help? I'm sure it's a simple fix and I'm being a bonehead, but I'm stumped at the moment. Thanks!

I believe the issue was a setting on my MIDI interface, and that has been corrected.
