Can I stop Voyager sending the knobs CC's?

Post by LivePsy » Mon Nov 25, 2013 12:01 am

I want to use the knobs only for the Voyager while the keyboard drives another synth.

Can I stop the Voyager sending any controllers from the front panel knobs?

I asked Rudi this question a while back, thinking that there must be a menu item to switch off the transmission of Voyager CC data.

The answer was 'no'. :(

Maybe you can "filter out" certain CC messages on the other synths you want to control with your Voyager maybe (by selecting which MIDI messages you want to receive. Something like "key events only". I have that option on my 25 years old Ensoniq SQ-80)?
Moog Minimoog D (1975)
DSI OB6
DSI Prophet REV2
Oberheim Matrix-6
Ensoniq SQ-80
Korg DW8000
Behringer DeepMind 12
Alesis Ion

Thanks guys. I'm getting a Midi Solutions Event Processor to filter out the CC's.
