But... Well it's been pretty well expressed by others. Non the less, were waiting. Albeit impatiently at this point.
all this talk about editors and firmware 2.xxx and i cant find any of em online. and the editor was "ready for release next week" in April and then it was "ready for release by the time you read this" in Sound on Sound in May with screen photos and everything and its September now and...well....what the hell.

at least give us what you gave to the SOS reviewer to play around with, rather than all this talk with no download links of even a beta for christs sake. Im sure some ppl are chuckling and giggling about having this editor all to themselves and well "stiff" for the rest of us Sub Phatty owners but now youve had your fun, youve had your exclusive little party, we are all so envious of you, good one. But its time to give it up now, stop mucking around and let us have what we were promised as part of our purchase.

I always felt like i was "on the inside" by owning a Moog and it was "wink...grin" as i passed someone else wearing a Moog T-Shirt but now with this editor rubbish i feel like ive been pushed to the outside of the inside and im just watching through a glass window at everyone talking on this forum and partying inside the room with their editors/toys and im standing outside the soundproof window peering into the room with my boots in the muddy garden in the rain watching as my hair gets wet and no-one will let me in. Not a nice feeling.

Cheers,

Come on, Amos explained the situation in this thread (previous page) and already apologized for it. Release announcement is planned for this week: http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.ph ... 40#p122125

I could not agree more! Seriously, it's been far too long and nobody feels that more acutely than I do.
If I went into detail about every unexpected delay, plot twist, last minute feature change, and so on... it would be a long and tedious tale, I assure you.

I apologize again to anyone who is feeling left out. Be sure you've registered your Sub Phatty so you're on the email list for the official announcement.

Cheers

Amos

actually Amos i think we would rather be informed of every delay and unexpected twist to be honest. then at least we know what is going on. I would certainly be more forgiving if i was given regular updates (ie daily or at least weekly) as to the problems associated with the delay of release. I think i would be much less grumpy and more understanding about the current state of affairs. because the way it stands now it just seems to be delaying on forever...verging on vapourware.

maybe its time i wrote into Sound on Sound magazine. imagine this question in their Q&A "hi i read your review of the Moog Sub Phatty months ago and saw the screenshots of the editor but i cant find it, you said it would be released any day back in May, can you please give me a link to its download...many thanks". Imagine their printed explanation. It would not look good for you Moog.

thanks for your response post tho ...appreciated.

Cheers,
Blackout

hi,i am in the same situation ,i got my subphatty since july and i am waiting the editor for windows . i would prefer to wait a little bit more than having buggy software.i just remember some games companies who rush the products and the result is is not either good for the company and the gamer.for the moment you can use a sysex program to save your patchs.
