So I just unboxed my Moog Minitaur (and it sounds awesome) and I am controlling it with my DSI Mopho keyboard.
It appears that the Minitaur sounds an octave above my Mopho. I'm basing this on VCO1 of the Minitaur and OSC 1 with no sub octave on the Mopho. Basically this means that if I transpose my keybed to its lowest setting, I can play an octave lower on the mopho than on the minitaur (unless I bring in VCO2 on the Minitaur and tune it down one octave).
I dunno. This doesn't seem right to me. Is this the way it is designed? I would think that the base oscillators on each board should sound in the same octave with one midi note.
EDIT: I just plugged it into my Juno 106 and found the same situation. Minitaur sounds 1 octave higher.
I thought I read somewhere that there was a midi control that could adjust the OSC's up or down one octave, but I'm not sure.
