Hello friends,
I have the MF-105 MuRF on my pedal board and I also just purchased the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus and the Pedal Power ISO-5 unit. I'd like to use one of these to power my MuRF but I'm pretty sure I need a negative polarity cable of some sort. Has anyone successfully powered their MuRF with one of these units? I know its 9v but does it matter which input i plug in to on either power supply? Also, does it matter if you use the white barrell negative polarity (Straight connector) or the Red Barrell negative polarity (Right Angle Connector)? (2.1mm or 2.5mm?) The #4 connector on the ISO-5 is labeled as 9V 400ma. However the PP2+ has a 9v 250 ma input at connector #5 & 6. Can anyone shed some light as to which connector cable I need and where I should plug it in to get the best results for my MuRF? Thanks in advance!

I have the ISO-5 and mine says 300mA; I never tried hooking it up but I believe all you will need is the reverse polarity cable (or make your own). I believe it's the red cable but have a look on Amazon or Voodoo's site to be sure.
Some of the Foogers need > 300mA so watch out for that; I never bothered as I have enough 'other' pedals on my board so I just use a power strip to the side with 3 MF wall warts; not the best but I don't have to worry.

On Voodoo's site it is the White end cable. The red is 2.5mm, white is 2.1mm. I use the white and they are great.EMwhite wrote:I believe it's the red cable but have a look on Amazon or Voodoo's site to be sure.
If you do a search in the Moogerfooger forum for "current draw" or "powering multiple foogers" you will find a number of threads that address the specifics you are searching for.
Vibration emanates from all things, even nothing. Using awareness to translate vibration into "music" is something that I am whole heartedly grateful for.

Yes, the PP2 can power the MuRf. I do it that way--the above information is correct. Order the white tipped power cable and use it in either outlet 5 or 6 switched away from "normal." Good luck!
