Glide Tracking question

Post by OLFAudio » Sat Oct 01, 2005 11:50 pm

Is it possible to have the glide only abily to one of the three ocsillators? Or maybe, is there another way to have one of the oscillators track the keyboard slower than the others?

I looked a little but cannot figure out if this is possible. Maybe a software feature?

Qwave is quite right - there's no way to have glide affect just a single oscillator. There is a way to simulate the effect, however. It involves programming the Mod Wheel to control an oscillator, some pot mapping, and some playing technique. You can read about the details here:

Look for a folder called 'Simulating a Single Oscillator Glide'. The folder contains a PDF document describing the technique, a Voyager patch and an audio file sample (MP3).

Not a true glide, but a way to fake it. If nothing else, at least you'll get the chance to hear what multiple oscillator glides sound like.
