Tuning the SubP filter

Post by marty » Fri Jul 05, 2013 12:07 pm

So I have programmed a sine wave patch that tracks pretty well over two octaves. It's all filter resonance as would be expected. However every time I power on the SubP the filter is no longer in tune.

Does the filter need time to "warm up"? Shouldn't the filter section remain precisely the way I saved the preset (and hence in tune) no matter how many power cycles?

Peace,
Marty

let the Sub get good and warmed up, then tune in the patch the best you can and save it.
verify you can change to other presets, fool with the filter settings, and switch back to your preset and the filter's still tuned.

then try cycling the power. see if the filter's still tuned, and if not then see if it comes into tune after warming up, and if so how long.
i'll be on holiday til next wednesday, but i'm interested to learn what you find out.
