Drive on MF-101
I'm thinking about buying this pedal but wanted to ask if anyone can tell me what kind of of distortion you can get using the drive knob. I'm not looking for anything too intense. I just love that warm, gritty, overdriven analogue sound. Thanks!

From any sound source, you will get an overdrive sound that can get just into crunchy. If you have a hotter source (ie boosted signal) then is goes further. Like any good drive circuit, the more you push the more it clips. It does well to warm a sterile sound too, even when not driven.
If you mean for guitar / bass, it is a fantastic drive sound. It may need some post EQ to get it where you want it (ie it is just a drive circuit), but its totally dynamic, and warm. I used a booster in front so that it acted like an on / off for the drive, you could do the same with the volume knob on your axe with great results. EQ in front also does well to emphasize specific clipping frequencies.
Was my first Moog pedal. My first "real" pedal - one that I played, and didn't play me. Such a useful tool.

Vibration emanates from all things, even nothing. Using awareness to translate vibration into "music" is something that I am whole heartedly grateful for.
