Re: sub phatty panic?
No, but the Sub Phatty responds to MIDI "all notes off" so any DAW with a panic function will kill notes on the Sub.
can you imagine a front-panel shortcut or maneuver that would be good for invoking a panic function?
If so, describe what you think would be a good way to do it and I'll see about implementing that feature.

Is PITCH AMT + HARD SYNC available as a shortcut?Amos wrote:Can you imagine a front-panel shortcut or maneuver

Re: sub phatty panic?
Maybe pressing both octave switch buttons at the same time, or all PRESET buttons at once ( even thought that might be less easy to pull off
)
Thanks!

"both octave switches" is good -- I will add this. Cheers!

Shouldn't both octave switches = Default (0) Octave?Amos wrote:"both octave switches" is good -- I will add this.

Re: sub phatty panic?
I don't think so; it's only +2 or -2 octaves so that wouldn't save you very much work. Whereas a panic function can save your sanity!

Yes a panic function would be a nice little feature.

Re: sub phatty panic?
YES! A midi panic button was the first MAJOR problem I encountered with my new Moog Sub Phatty today. Geez, I paired it up with my Roland Juno-106. I fed both some midi data and both went nuts. The 106 had a nice dedicated midi panic button and I was scratching my head as to why my grand plus Moog had nothing at all to stop the midi traffic jam. I had to turn off the power and back on again to clear things out. I'll probably have to do that reluctantly during live shows too. Not excited about the lack of a way to kill the midi problems, BUT I do love the Moog otherwise so far. I was just surprised that my Juno 106 continues to beat out the latest gear in functionality in various ways. Thumbs up for a midi panic button. The Moog Sub Phatty definitely needs it.
