Soundtower Voyager PlugSe

Post by M-Prod » Mon Apr 22, 2013 9:43 am

I read some bad experiences about this plugin/company. Now i realize that bad experiences are expressed sooner then good. So I wondered. Anyone have good experience with the Voyager PlugSe and Soundtower support?
I'm on a macbook pro with ableton live, so particulary interested in that setup.

thanks!

Nope, they are one of the biggest ripoffs to appear on the musical horizon in the last decade.

I had an issue with the old version not so long ago. I emailed them and they got back to me within minutes with a fix.

So in this particular case, top marks for support however I really cannot get my head round the software, I think it's really poorly designed... but I'm still talking about the old version here !!

How is the demo version working for you?
They're often a good indication of how the software GUI will function with hardware....

you could try M4L devices since you're already using Ableton (live9 suite comes with max)

^^max for live devices with a Moog search^^

.... and with a MIDI controller = losing more sleep than you are already

hope this helps

Thanks for your answers. Took the plunge, I really crave for instant preset recollection in my DAW projects. And.. had registration problems (invalid registration code). But mailed them and they resolved it within 15 min.
Havent' tried the software yet. If you don't hear from me it went fine ;-)
