Out of the blue I received a sticker last week with a vanilla form letter suggesting I should visit the Moog website.

Is a sticker really the 'small gift' we get? We get a sticker when we register any Moog products and give feedback on them... I was sort of hoping for something a bit different and actually related to the Voyager Anniversary type theme, something unique for Voyager owners, not something every Moog product buyer gets just for registering...

I contacted Moog 3 weeks ago by email and asked if voyager owners outside the USA were entitled to a small gift as promised. Still no reply to date. Why say your going to give something then don't! why ignore emails from product owners? especially as it would have been a simple yes or no. Really amazed in the present economy that a company does this. I will not be petty and say i will never Moog products again, but lets face it since Bob Moog has died what have they actually offered that is new and exciting to the table. Look out for next years release. Sub sub sandwich Moog.

I've bought a Voyager Old School back in 2008, and never received any stickers or anything from Moog either. I since sold it to buy an original Mini instead.
But if you buy a current Moog Music product only to expect to receive bumper stickers, you're missing the point.
(I'm joking of course. Who would pay thousands of dollars for bumper stickers? )

These are only marketing gimmicks. Roland did it many years ago with their Boss product line, and stopped because it wasn't bringing in new customers anyway.

We are talking about MOOG. It's very logo warrants artificial inflation.
