Animoog 2.1.0 problems?

New release is getting some 1-star ratings in the App Store but no reviews. Can anyone who has tried it enlighten us? I'm especially concerned about it working on an iPad 1, since right now I'm right on the edge. I can only start it if I shut down all other programs in the multitasker first.

Not absolutely sure, but I'd guess that the one star ratings are based on the fact that they are now asking people to register for the four track recording.
