September 2005 patches

Post by LWG » Thu Sep 01, 2005 1:56 am

Polymoog Vox Humana - Add a bit of reverb is all.

Oscillators:

Octave: Osc 1 - 4', Osc 2 - 4', Osc 3 - 4'

Wave: Osc 1: 4 (saw), Osc 2: 8.8 (238), Osc 3: 0

Frequency: Osc 1: n/a, Osc 2: 0 (-1), Osc 3: +1.5 (+33)

Mixer:

Level: Osc 1 - 8 (223) On, Osc 2 - 7 (188) On, Osc 3 - 0 (Off)

Noise - 8 (220) (Off), External In - Off

Filter:

Freq: 2.5 khz (186), Spacing: 0, Resonance: 1 (003), KB Amt: 4.7 (117),

Mode: LP/LP, Slope A/B: 4-pole/4-pole, Envelope Amount: .5 (+21)

Filter Envelope:

Attack: 12:00 (129), Decay: 1mS, Sustain: 10 (255), Release: (172)

Amplitude Envelope:

Attack: 1:00 (155), Decay: 1 mS, Sustain: 10 (255), Release: (162)

Envelope Gate: KB

LFO: Rate: approx 5 Hz (150), Lfo Sync: Off

Mod Wheel Bus: Source: Triangle, Destination: Pitch, Shaping: Filter Env,

Amount: 1.5 (20)

Pedal Bus: Source: Osc 3, Destination: Osc 2, Shaping: Filter Env,

Amount: 1.2 (12)

Glide: Off, Release: On, Pitch Bend Amount: +/- Fourth

1>2 Sync: Off, 3>1 FM: Off, 3 KB Cont: Off, 3 Freq: Lo, KB Mode: Low-Note,

Trigger Mode: Single. Master Volume: 5.9 (149)

Pot Mapping:

Pot Mapping 1 Src: Noise Level, Destination: Mod Wheel, Direction: Normal,

Amount: 25%.

Output config: Mono out

Note: I do not own the Moog controller pedal, therefore the value for
Pedal Mod Bus Amount is an absolute value. If you're programming
the patch with the pedal plugged in, it may add to or subtract from the
actual value of the Amount parameter and the patch will sound different
than intended.
The patch can also be adapted to other synths like the Memorymoog fairly easily.
Finally, for reference, I will post this patch and previous others in sysex format on the Yahoo Groups Voyager site.

Regards,

LWG

Me too. I'll try it tonight.

I'm not ashamed to admit I can't go more than an hour in front of a keyboard without a Tubeway Army/Numan flashback!!!

My A6 is filled with patches with names like "Fragile", "Cars", Sirens", "Bombers" etc etc.

I might go V3.0 just so I can have a full bank of Numanoid patches permenantly in my Voyager too!

Come to think of it, a Tubeway Army tribute band - now that would be fun!

:)

Can't wait to dig in. Thanks, LWG. Good show!

Tried the patch but I think I made a mistake. Maybe its cos I didn't add reverb?

I looked on the Voyager group but didn't see the file.

Since it's a preset on a Polymoog Keyboard you don't need it anymore!

Hello,

I uploaded a copy of Vox Humana preset (Sysex) into the files section on the Squarewave website.

LWG,

I recently dialed in the 303 patch you submitted and that's excellent. I haven't put them all in yet, but you're very good at programming those patches.

Thanks!

You don't have to program these patches yourself (unless you want to, of course). They are are available on the SquareWave site:

GregAE,

Thank you for the link. I am still not able to get the Voyager to work with Sysex librarian properly after trying everything possible so I do have to dial them in. I'm not a pro at creating a variety of patches on the Voyager so dialing in LWG's patches manually has helped me out a lot. I plan on getting the version 3 upgrade in the next couple of months so maybe I'll have better luck with the librarian after that.

Thanks!
