Pedal/On modulation bus
Hello,
Just a simple question but before I think I'm going insane:
The Pedal/on modulation Source is set to Triangle.
The Destination is set to Pitch.
The Shaping is set to Pressure.
The Amount is set to 255.
The LFO Rate is set to 160.
When playing and using aftertouch I should here vibrato, right?
If the answer is yes, there is someting wrong with my Voyager.
Regards, Karel.

Re: Pedal/On modulation bus
Possibly the aftertouch flat ribbon connector that came loose under the mod wheel assembly maybe ?

Re: Pedal/On modulation bus
Thanks for the reply. But that's not the case. The Pressure is working with the Mod.Wheel modulation bus. This setup is the easiest way to check the modulation effect. I have a LP/HP problem as well (4 pole of filter A doesn't work anymore) and have to send my voyager for repair so I can mention this too. I bought it 10 months ago so I still have warranty.thealien666 wrote:Possibly the aftertouch flat ribbon connector that came loose under the mod wheel assembly maybe ?
I've read about the LP/HP problem before on this forum. The serial number is 3172 - maybe it's from a bad run or something.

160 is quite low, provided I understand well and it's the "precision value", over 4096 possible. Maybe you should try something more noticeable. As for amount, try something less FM-ish.
Oh... is there anything plugged in the pedal input? What is the behaviour then?

It's 160 on the 255 scale. There's nothing plugged in the inputs. I think the bus is broke.stiiiiiiive wrote:160 is quite low, provided I understand well and it's the "precision value", over 4096 possible. Maybe you should try something more noticeable. As for amount, try something less FM-ish.

One thing I learned just now and that is that the On/Mod1 on the Mod/Wheel Bus is actually is On/Mod2 (Thanks to Gregea! on KT) I always wondered why some patches I made didn't work as I expected,

Re: Pedal/On modulation bus
Well, I don't think so actually unless the attached SysEx produces no vibrato sound by anyone else. On my voyager it's just a plain dull sound.stiiiiiiive wrote:Good news then
This example should produce heavy vibrato unless I am completely wrong of how the busses work.
I hope anyone can try this patch. It is a Panel Sound I exported to Cubase and saved as sysex. Many thanks in advance.

My Voyager won't understand SysEx...
