ok!
I wanted to run for MIDI and audio output from Ipad2 to xonek2 in program animoog
Step 1 - ipad2 through usb midi kit is connected to the hub power usb
Step 2 xonek2 connected to the hub by usb
3 animug sees xonek2 and allows to assign MIDI commands
but there is no sound output through ipad2, not through xonek2

It sounds like you want both MIDI control input from xone:k2 and sound output through the K2 as well. I'm not aware of anyone who's gotten MIDI control in and sound out through USB working at the same time, it seems the ipad allows one or the other. I'd love to use this feature as well, but I guess that's how they sell docks.

Another option is to use the K2 for control input and then run your sound output from the 3.5mm output of the ipad to whatever you're playing sound through (or just hook up some headphones).
