Controlling the voyager via CV from Volta or Silent way?

Post by nms » Tue Oct 30, 2012 4:12 am

Here's something I have wondered about. Do any of you guys know about using Expert Sleepers' Silent Way or Motu Volta to control the Voyager instead of midi?

I'm thinking of this as a way to get sample accurate control over the Voyager and avoid having to worry about sloppy midi behaviour or midi stepping when automating. Is this possible?

I don't have any personal experience with it, but it should be possible.

it's starting to seem like an interesting angle. I'm not too impressed with midi and Silent way is only $65 plus gives you LFOs etc

I already have a DC coupled (Motu) interface to use for the CV interface.
