If I use my Minitaur in Ableton using 5 pin MIDI through my MOTU express 128 MIDI interface i get MIDI artefacts even with note on off messages. i.e. I play one note on my keyboard and I get two cracks.
I've also been trying for 2 days to automate either my Minitaur through Logic Pro using both MSB & LSB control messages even one note over 20 seconds with just a Cutoff filter sweep gets loads of MIDI artefacts!
I know it has USB MIDI but this all started with me trying to automate my MOOGERFOOGER-104M.
This is really getting me down, please help.

So I've sorted it in Logic:
I've routed the MIDI out of logic through my SLMK II into the MOOG and created 14 BIT CC Faders in Logic environment that are automated on their own track in the arrange!
