What does it mean when the LFO is using osc 2 as its source?

Can someone shed some light on what exactly is happening when the LFO is using OSC. 2 for its source/destination? The manual does not really explain how this is exactly working.

thanks in advance!

The LFO does not use the OSC2 as a source. That's the MODULATION bus, which needs a source and a destination, that can use the OSC2 signal as a modulation source.

Basically what he means is as a source oscillator 2 replaces the lfo so you can do more audio range modulation. And as a destination the lfo would modulate the pitch of just oscillator 2 instead of the pitch of both oscillators when pitch is selected a the destination. this works really well with the oscillators in sync to give varying harmonic character to the sound
My modular so far: Q104, Q106 x2, Q107, Q108, Q109 x2 , Q116, Q118, Q127 w/Q140, Q130, STG Wave Folder, Mixer and Mankato playing with Moog Voyager, VX-351, CP-251, MF-104M x2 ( STEREO!) Volca Beats and Bass, Arturia Beat step

I have always wished OSC 2 had a 32' and maybe a 64' to be able to keytrack a slower LFO. You can always turn down the level in the OSC section and use it just for modulation. The variable waveshape is nice for modulation. I just can't get it slow enough. It wouldn't matter much if it did track well as OSC 2 has freq adjustment.

A setting in the menu to make OSC 2 4x the footing setting. Or something like OSC 2 slow mod range, if it doesn't track perfectly.
