connecting source to mini (or vice versa)...

Post by leohuppert » Tue Oct 23, 2012 2:06 am

encouraging news: took my source in to a shop close by me in northern nj, armed with thealien666's 2 cents on the problem, and things seem hopeful on that front, especially when the tech recognized mr. lightner's name in reference to all things moog. depending on his results, i may give him the minimoog resto gig as well.

so now, i'm wondering how to sync up the two in order to play one from the other, combining all the osc's together for even more earthshaking bass tones. help me spock.....

(thanks!)

You can control the mini from the source, the CV and s-trig jacks are stock on the source. You will need a 1/4" to Cinch-Jones adapter for the S-trig, and the CV jack is a TRS so a special cable is needed for that. If you want the Mini filter to track the keyboard you will need to mult CV to both the filter jack and oscillator jack on the Mini.
