Voyager select custom switch?

Post by bizmusik » Sun Sep 30, 2012 9:39 am

Hello guys, just found out 10th anniversary voyager select discount news and now I'm just dying to get this voyager custom series. I've been playing RME at my work place for a year and I've always wanted this for myself and I guess the time has finally came.

I came across some picture of Voyager with whitewash/blue led and absolutely love that look. What I found interesting is that all the switches are blue instead of combination of blue and red.
Any idea where can I change all the switch to blue color? Do I ask that customization from moog directly?
I would really appreciate your help!

thanks :D

I was going to say that its the Nova Musik custom, but it looks like those are white rockers...

Moog is super nice about customizing their stuff for customers (at a price mind you). Never hurts to email them when you order. I think they will only do stuff with parts they have in stock (so dont go asking for purple rockers)... And blue rockers are common parts for them, so I dont see why they couldnt put blue rockers on yours...

I bought a Whitewash Voyager Old School from Nova about 3 years ago and last summer drove it down to Asheville (from Jersey) for the full treatment:

- clear LHC
- blue LEDs with flashing tied to LFO
- blue LFO lamp
- all blue rockers
- blue overload light on input
- LHC legato, staccato control
- internal volt/octave trim

If you can get your synth there, they'll do anything they want, prices are super reasonable in terms of parts and labor; just call them.

that's awesome! thanks so much guys.

Didn't see that NovaMusik had one like that. Now it seems i need to ask moog directly.

Btw I can't find any stores that sells whitewash cabinet. Is it only moog exclusive now?

Call Novamusik and talk to them directly. Those are the guys you need to talk to for the whitewash stuff.
